Pad printing
Printing processes
Single-colour printing
With single-colour printing, a print image is transferred from the cliché to the printed material. It is the simplest type of printing and is supported by every pad printing machine with the basic equipment.
2-colour printing
In two-colour printing, two print images are picked up from the cliché and one image after the other is transferred to the printed material. This type of printing requires a two-position pad shift or a two-position part shift.
Multi-colour printing
In multi-colour printing, several print images are picked up by the cliché and one image after the other is delivered onto the printed material. This type of printing requires a multi-position tampon shift or a multi-position part shift.
Selective printing
With selective printing, several images are printed on one cliché. The desired print image can be selected via an interface from a higher-level control system.
Sequence printing
With sequence printing, the printing sequence can be freely selected. There can be several print images on the cliché, which can be transferred to freely selectable positions on the printed material.
